TONS OF ROCK 2023 – Day 2: When NIGHTWISH Cancels, The Beasts Come Out At Night!

Yesterday's rain was replaced by brilliant sunshine. The only damper on a beautiful day of music was the cancellation of Nightwish, due to Floor Jansen's illness. Out of that darkness arose more sinister creatures: Powerwolf, a (literally) incendiary performance from Behemoth and Mayhem, with barb-wire bound pig heads lining the stage!
They were joined by an A List parade across the Tons Of Rock stages, including Halestorm, Voivod, Avatar and Clutch, to name but a few. A complete report on the four days of activity will be online soon.
